Quality Enhancement and Sustenance in Health Science Universities – The Current Perspectives of NAAC

Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth had organized a 2-days’ sensitization program on Quality enhancement and Sustenance in Health Sciences Universities- The current NAAC perspectives, on 12^th and 13^th July 2019. The objective was to sensitize all the employees of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth on the revised manual of NAAC for Health Sciences Universities. The resource persons were members from the Core Working Group of NAAC revision process, Prof. YM Jayaraj, Vice-Chancellor of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Maharashtra and Prof. Chandrashekar Shetty, Vice-Chancellor Adichunchanagiri   University, Karnataka. They had inspired and motivated the faculty on various parameters in the NAAC manual on criteria I, II, III and VI. Guidelines were provided by them on the correct process of data compilation for NAAC 2020, the 2^nd cycle accreditation of SBV. Honorable Vice-Chancellor graced the occasion and delivered the special address. The feedback from the faculty indicated that the program was effective and has stimulated interest in them to attend more specific workshops on Quality in Education.
