The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth organized a Capacity Augmentation Program Series 11 titled “Online Education Program” to Commemorate World Quality Week 2023. The program was scheduled on 7th November 2023.
The highlight of the day was the inauguration of the Directorate of Online Education “SBV – Open”, by release of the logo by the Vice Chancellor, in the presence of the Registrar and Director C- DREaMS.
Followed by this, the students of SBV who had topped in NPTEL SWAYAM courses were honoured. The Principal of Allied Health Sciences was felicitated for having the maximum number of participants in the School of Allied Health Sciences
Dr.V. Surekha and Dr. Saurabh Srivastav, from Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute, who contributed to Vidyamitra were honored. Department of Community Medicine in Shri Sathya Sai medical College and Research Institutewas felicitated for maximum contribution in Vidyamitra.
The guest speaker for the day was Dr. Manoranjan Pon Ram, Director, Directorate of Online Education, SRMIST, Kattankulathur, Chennai, who spoke on the topic “Quality Enhancement in Higher Education through Online Education – The Challenges and Opportunities’. He sensitised the audience on the need of the hour to shift to online education from face –to- face education.
The program ended with the guest speaker being honoured by the Vice Chancellor and Dean Academic. More than 200 participants benefited for this program.
