IQAC conducted a faculty development program a series of workshops in National Education Policy, under the CAP Series which was scheduled from 19th August to September 19th 2022 from 3 to 4pm at BC Roy Hall- Ground floor Lecture. It was conducted online and hybrid mode. The number of participants was around 276 from all the constituent colleges and centres of SBV in main campus and off- campus .The first day program started with welcome speech by Dr. Carounanidy Usha followed by Prof. Subhash Chandra Parija, Honorable Vice – Chancellor who gave the opening remarks. The opening session on 19.8.22 was taken with topic on Quality Ecosystems in Health professions Education by Prof. Vedprakash Mishra, Honorable Pro-Chancellor and Advisor, Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Science, Wardha, Maharashtra and topic on Architecture of NEP 2020-An Overview by Prof. N. Ananthakrishnan, Dean-Faculty, SBV.

The second session on 25.8.22 was taken with topics on Holistic and Multidisciplinary education by Prof. Y.M Jeyaraj, Honorable Pro-Chancellor, SBV. The third session on 26.8.22 was taken with topics on Academic Flexibility by Prof.Chandrashekar Shetty, Advisor, Adichunchanagiri University, Karnataka and topic on Academic Bank of Credits by Prof. A.R. Srinivasan, Registrar, SBV. The fourth session on 1.9.22 was taken with topics on Outcome-Based Education. (OBE) by Senior Prof. K.R Sethuraman, Dean Faculty of Medicine, AIMST University, Malaysia and topic on Focus of OBE in NEP 2020 by Dr. Shivasakthy M, Deputy Director, IIHPE, SBV. The fifth session on 2.9.22 was taken with topic on Skill development in NEP 2020 by Dr. Vijayakrishna Rapaka, Principal, RGCET. The sixth session on 8.9.22 was taken with topic on Equity and Accessibility in the use of technology in education by Dr. Jagan Mohan R, Dy. Director, C-DREaMS, SBV. The seventh session on 9.9.22 was taken with topic on Online/ Digital Education and Blended learning by Prof. Krishna Seshadri, Endocrinology and Medical Education, SBV. The eight session on 15.9.22 taken with topic on The AYUSH initiative and its relevance to modern medicine by Dr. Kaviraja Udupa, Neurophysiology, NIMHANS, Bengaluru and topic on Indian  nowledge system of medicine as a tool of salutogenesis(wellness) by Dr. Ananda Balayogi, Director, ISCM, SBV.

The last valedictory session on 21.1022 was taken with topic on NEP-2020- A Critical Analysis & Roadmap by Prof. Subhash Chandra Parija, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, SBV. The session was concluded by Dr. Carounanidy Usha by thanking all.
